Youth Team Norway
Nordic Skyrunning has a talent development program for Skyrunners age 14 - 22.
The team's main purpose is to compete in the Youth Skyrunning World Championships and gain experience in high-technical mountain running.
Selection for Team Norway is based on VK times and Skyrace results.
Seclection race in 2025: Besseggenløpet, June 14th 2025,
Youth team Norway can qualify 18 athletes for the Youth Skyrunning World Championships. The four age groups are:
Youth A: 2010 - 2009
Youth B: 2008 - 2007
Youth C: 2006 - 2005
U23: 2004 - 2003 - 2002
Youth Team Norway Estimated Selection Combinations in 2025 (variations may occur):
- Youth A: 3 Women + 2 Men
- Youth B: 2 Women + 4 Men
- Youth C and U23: 3 Women + 3 Men
The selected team will be contacted directly after the selection.
Three athletes are pre-selected for 2025 team based on the results of the 2024 World Championships: Ingeborg Synstnes Hole, Isak Drøpping, and Andreas Lilleskare.
